Roberto Decarre (Singer and keyboard)

IMG_1033He was born in Junín, Buenos Aires Province in 1988.

He began his vocal studies at age 9 with the guidance of his father, Omar Decarre. At age 12 he began studying piano with Armando Alvarez and trumpet in the Junín Municipal Youth Band, directed by Angel Faré.

In February 2006 he was summoned by the master Roberto Álvarez to join as singer of the Color Tango Orchestra. That year he changed his place of residence to the city of Buenos Aires.

Between 2009 and 2012 he studied singing at the Avellaneda Popular Music School, with professor Claudio Bróccoli. He studied composition with Willy González and Guillermo Klein, and trumpet with Edgardo Pareta and Richard Nant.

Alongside his work as a singer, he works as trumpeter in several jazz and other genres bands.
