Ernesto Gómez (2nd. violin)

IMG_1014Born in Buenos Aires on July 11th of 1983, he studied with master Mauricio Marcelli at Popular Music Avellaneda School. He also studied with violin teacher Alejandro Schaikis and in the field of tango with Ramiro Gallo.

He has been violinist of the “Orquesta Académica del Teatro Colón”.

He was part of “Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce”, performing with important tango masters such as Leopoldo Federico and Raúl Garello among others.

He was part of “Orquesta Típica Fervor de Buenos Aires” for four years performing in festivals and “milongas” in Brasil, Uruguay and throughout Europe (Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Scotland, France, Italy, Spain, Greece). Nowadays he is part of “Orquesta Típica Misteriosa Buenos Aires” and of several chamber music groups .

At the moment he is working as a violin teacher at the Youth Orchestras project held by the government of Buenos Aires city.

Since April of 2009 he is part of Color Tango Orchestra conducted by Roberto Álvarez.
